Γεια σου! Hi!

I am Antonis Konstantinidis, teacher at the Learn Modern Greek Online program, of which I am also the coordinator. I have been teaching Greek since 2012, when I finished my Bachelor in Greek Language and Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). Currently pursuing my PhD in Apllied and Educational Linguistics, I love combining academic expertise with practical teaching skills acquired through tutoring. Being fluent in English (C2) and able to understand Spanish (B2), German (B1), and Farsi (B1) enhances my ability to understand learners’ needs and challenges in language acquisition.

I have worked as a teacher in secondary education and as a researcher in the miGRant project, which studied the language practices of Greek teenager immigrants in Australia and Germany.

Since 2023, I am a scientific coordinator at the Teach4Integration project, which trains educators in Greek language teaching to immigrants and refugees. As a result, I have gained experience in curriculum development and digital education platforms and I have deepened my understanding of cross-cultural communication. I always try creating engaging, personalized learning experiences, combining traditional teaching methods with modern digital tools to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Let’s embark together on a journey into the Modern Greek language and culture! Πάμε!

Γεια σας, με λένε Εύα! Hello, my name is Eva!

I am the Coordinator of the Greek Language Program at the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul (Sismanoglio Megaro), Turkey, since September 2011. I am also responsible for the Center for the Greek Language Examination Center in Istanbul.

I have taught Greek as a second/foreign language for many years at both Ankara University and Bosphorus University. I have studied the educational and social history of Greek Orthodox communities in Asia Minor, as well as Greek-Asian Minor dialects. I enjoy keeping up with scientific developments in teaching Greek as a second/foreign language to adults, so that I can learn modern ways to support my students.

In my classes, I combine textbooks and audiovisual media, creating a pleasant atmosphere where we learn Greek while having fun. I look forward to seeing you in class!
