  • Whatever your motivation, the Centre for the Greek Language (CGL) gives you the opportunity to start a distance learning course.

What Will You Learn

  • Understand and use, in speech and writing, familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type;
  • Introduce yourselves and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you come from, where you live, and about people you know and things you have, you like or dislike;
  • Interact in a simple way as long as the person you are talking to speaks slowly, clearly, and is prepared to help;
  • Respond to simple, everyday communicative situations in topics such as home, work, family, daily routine, food, likes, dislikes, describing people, shopping and much more.
  • You will come into contact with various aspects of modern Greek culture
